"Worth the Drive"

BF&E Organics is a family owned and operated business since the 1950's. We started working toward our organic certification in 1992, through GOA (Global Organic Alliance). We farm well over 350 acres of land, all certified organic. We are committed to raising healthy food for people.
We raise sheep. Our breed of choice being Dorper. They are a very hardy breed and mild tasting meat. We also raise free-ranged organic laying hens as well as broiler chickens. We raise a meat chicken called Freedom Ranger.

We feel it is important for you to know where your food comes from. We are dedicated to doing our best in raising healthy, local, organic food for you. Also, we feel it is important to do our part in protecting our environment.

Visiting the Farm

We are located approximately 20 miles north of Imlay City, MI in North Branch, MI. Our farm is open to you. We like to think of our customers as friends and partners. We want you to feel comfortable about buying your food from someone you know and trust.  If interested, we invite you to come see the animals, operation, and learn about life on the farm. Also, we own horses and ponies for pleasure. We just ask that you call for an appointment first.
